Vancouver, BC – April 2025
The British Columbia Mainland Cricket League (BCMCL) is now officially accepting team registrations for the 2025 Weekday T20 Cricket Tournament, scheduled to run from May 12 to July 11, 2025. Teams across the Lower Mainland are encouraged to secure their spot in one of BC’s most exciting weekday competitions.
📅 Tournament Format
BCMCL has structured this T20 season into two competitive divisions based on player standings from the 2025 regular season:
- Division 1: Players from Elite, Premier, Division 1, and Division 2
- Division 2: Players from Division 3 to Division 11
📋 Rules Overview
- Team Mergers Allowed: Two clubs may combine to form one team.
- One Team Per Player Rule: A player may play for only one team throughout the tournament (including juniors).
- Flexible Match Count: Each team will play 5–7 games, subject to final team registration numbers.
💰 Registration Details
- Fee: $1,350.00 CAD (non-refundable)
- Deadline: Payment due by May 8, 2025
- Team Roster: 18-player team list must be submitted by May 10, 2025
✅ Only players listed on the submitted roster will be eligible for playoff matches, even if they haven’t played in the regular season.
❗ If no team list is submitted by May 10, only 18 players may participate for the season, and playoff eligibility will be limited to those who have played at least one match.
