As Matchvue prepares to deliver comprehensive live coverage of the 2026 U18 Canadian Field Hockey National Championships in Surrey, British Columbia, we are excited to showcase Canada’s next generation of field hockey talent to audiences across the country and around the world.

Every year, one request stands out after the tournament ends.

Parents contact us looking for individual highlight videos of their son or daughter to include in university and college recruitment packages, scholarship applications, and personal athletic portfolios. Unfortunately, by the time those requests arrive, it is often too late.

During a live broadcast, our production team is focused on covering the game as a whole. Creating professional player-specific highlights requires dedicated planning, additional camera coverage, and careful tracking of an individual athlete throughout every match. Once the tournament has concluded, it becomes extremely difficult—and in many cases impossible—to go back and produce the quality of personalized highlight reel that families are looking for.

A New Value-Added Service for Athletes

To better serve players and their families, Matchvue is offering a Professional Individual Player Highlight Service during the U18 Canadian Nationals.

Families who register in advance will have a dedicated camera operator assigned to capture their athlete’s performance throughout every game. This additional footage allows us to create a professional-quality highlight package that showcases the player’s skills, positioning, decision-making, defensive work, attacking plays, and overall contribution on the field.

Whether your athlete is pursuing opportunities with Canadian universities, U.S. colleges, or simply wants to build a strong athletic portfolio, professionally produced game footage can make a meaningful difference.

Advance Booking Required

Because we must schedule additional camera operators before play begins, advance notice is essential.

If you would like to book this service for Wednesday’s matches (July 22), please email us no later than the end of the day on Tuesday, July 21.
